HHmmmm. Thats a new one for me........I would take it to Gene @ The HOOk or call(925-625-2441). I just had my bent shaft (on my trolling motor! ) fixed by Gene. Great service at a GREAT Price!!!! Thanks, Gene.

I am not trolling motor expert, but I know just a bit about low voltage electronics. It sounds to me like you have something wired backwards making the motor spin the wrong direction. I would start at the switch you installed.

Good Luck

Check the batteries. It sounds like the terminals might be hooked up wrong and if you put negative on positive and positive on negative things tend to go backwards! Hope this helps!

Hopefully Jason is correct and you've found a simple solution to your dilema. If not, you have a circuit problem. DC motors are polarity sensitive, so if anywhere in the circuitry the positive and negative are switched, your motor will turn backwards.

Just put the prop on backwards. You have some wires backwards. Thats the only explanation.
