delta/clearlake rattle bait question
Re: delta/clearlake rattle bait question
In dirty water i throw 6/20 power pro on ST CROIX pro glass crankbait rod at either place. It's easy to rip baits off grass but the rod forgiving enough to keep em from shakin off the trebbles. If its a clearer water situation i change spools to 12-15 # p line floro thats what i use it just works!
Come on Seig, your the vibrator master....
I mean vibration bait master, what set up do you use to catch those monster sacks on vibration baits?

I use a custom five power rod. Lenth 7' 4.5"
It has good backbone and a tip that is forgiving.
I also use it when I throw frogs.
I use 20lb Maxima Florocarbon. I may even go down to 15lb Maxima in Clear (rock free) water.
The key to throwing a Vibration bait is all on how you hold your tongue in your mouth.
I hope this helps.

My teachers always told me to hold my tongue
I didnt know I was supposed to use my fingers. Just shows to go that an old dog really can learn new tricks.
Now all I need to do is learn how to cast with one habd in my mouth
Ron maybe you could make a video showing your technique. I will pay big money for an autographed copy.
