Wow!!!!!

Post by JRS »

There was a great turnout at the Modesto Castmasters Club Open today on Lake McClure. Thanks for everyone who came out to support this event. There were 96 boats  competing today. The top three were:

1. Steve LaRussa Jr. and Alex Meza, total 13.34, big fish 6.27 (1)
$3400.00

2. Tom Loya and Joe Alanis, total 12.95, big fish 3.10
$1460.00

3. John Chiarpotti and Joe Bruce, total 12.01, big fish 3.90 (2)
$1420.00

We will try to get the complete results up later this weekend.

Hey Johnny,

great job to you and joe, I heard you are letting them melonies nightcrawlers live in your old copenhagen cans producing secret baits! the tournament was run very well and you would have thought they had 30 boats and not near 100. Would be sweet to draw 100 teams at our valley lakes on a continuous basis. Well run, beautiful weather and cool people... I guy couldn't ask for any more.
If I don't meet you no more in this world Then I'll see you in the next one. Don't be late... Don't be late... Stevie Ray/Hendrix

I had a great time at this tournament (once I started to feel my fingers, dang cold up the river in the morning).
All of the staff were very friendly, and the whole event was extremely smooth, especially the weigh-in. Outstanding job by John, Troyce and all the others who put this thing together.
