FED Dual at Oroville 2/18...Non-Boater signup partner needed

Post by gt5bass »

I am in need of a Non-Boater to signup with for the CA Bass Federation Dual event at Lake Oroville on the 2/18.

Pre-fish for sure on the 2/17, hopefully the 2/16 as well.

I will be staying at Motel 6 and you can stay in the extra bed for FREE (as long as you don't smoke or snore miserably)

I will be sending my entry in early next week so contact me ASAP!

Hopefully I can find some more of these:

Yeah guys, we do seem to have an over abundance of boaters without signup partners in region 3 this year. So far, for Oroville, I have 3 signups that have arrived with no non boater signup partner...just an fyi... I have my ears open however....should be an awesome tournament coming up.

Mark I'm cutting back on fishing this year , but if I am free at the last min[ fri before signup cutoff] I should be able to fish non-boater as a last resort. I am fishing Motherlode either as a boater or Rick Hoovers non-boater. But anything else is last moment notice.
call if you need non-boaters

Basically you join flw (www.flwoutdoors.com), the "competitor" level or above. And yes, you need to belong to a bass club that is "affiliated" with california bass federation. Some anglers can't or don't have, a bass club close to them, and so (people like me) run what we call a ghost club. It's an affiliated club, but we have no meetings and we don't have tournaments. Cost it $20 per calendar year (all of which goes to tbf and the Cal bass organization).

You can however fish one tournament without belonging to anything to try us out and see if you like it.

Feel free to call me 415-286-7966 and I'd be happy to give you more details. You can also visit www.californiabass.org and see the tournament rules, schedule of touraments, sponsors, and other information.

Guyle---- There are contingencies to fishing the fed but for people not in the know we have always invited them to sign up and fish 1 or 2 tournaments so they can see how we operate. Tournament directors will go over requirements, etc. at the pre tournament meeting. My suggestion would be to get a entry form from the website, fill it out and send it in. Entry fee is $70.00 w/o options. There are plenty of boaters as you can see from this post with open back seats. Good Luck, Tony Thomasy- region 5 director

Entry Info

Post by gt5bass »

Basic Entry is $70.

There is also a $10 option, a $20 option and a $5 big fish option.

Total entry per region playing all options (recomended) $105.

This is a "Dual" event, which means you can enter the event for either or both regions. If you want to fish both you pay two sets of entry fees. You only fish for one limit of fish but you can cut two checks. You also earn points for each region and both sets of points can be used for the travellers region.

Any more questions go the website: http://www.californiabass.org/tournaments.html

Rodger, Mr. Stedgal

Was this message for me? if so send me a note and I will call Mark Langer and let hom know.
I do not want to send in my fees w/o a sign-up partner as there are a ton of boaters and not enough non-boaters as of right now.
