You know, we always called each other goodfellas. Like, you'd say to somebody: "You're gonna like this guy; he's all right. He's a goodfella. He's one of us." You understand? We were goodfellas, wiseguys.

Yesterday while on the water, my client and I were praying for that front to move in. Ironically we began to see some clouds form at Mt Diablo, we then could see some more developing to the east, at about 11:00am, we were stuck in the middle of what looked to be an eye of a storm. We could see in a 30 mile radius all arounds, pouring down thunder showers, yet we were in a very cold, windy, blue bird sky area. It stayed this way until we came off the water at 3:30p when jokingly I told my client, this sucks, fishing sucks, we better git home, this feels like earth quake weather!

I live in San Ramon about 15 miles from where it was centered. I actually heard the quack about 5-10 seconds before our house started shaking and was able to get my wife and son of the couch out of our living room and into the front doorway before the house started to shake.

My wife was freeked out that I heard it coming. She said she won't beleive me now when I tell her I didn't hear her say I couldn't go fishing. :P

It'll make the fish bite!

Post by Bassinlee »

That's my story, and I'm sticking by it. :D
I'll find out tomorrow in the Delta. Wonder whether the fish'll be looking for my jig to hold onto for a nice ride into my livewell for a while before being returned? Big ol' toads prolly want to rest in the comfortable confines of a livewell while the not so firma terra settles down!
If anybody's out Friday at Russos, I'll be in a grey Suburban with a Raider colors Ranger. Come by and say hi!

I am here in San Jose, and I didn't feel a thing..Of course that could be due to the vodka and beer, but who knows for sure..
