National guard delta!

Post by JimmyReese »

Ok, are you guys ready for some monster bags?

Tomorrow you guys will see 4 weights over 30 lbs. But I bet you only see 25 over 20. Its crazy out there right now! If your in them you'll be big, if your not around fish, you can come in with 10 lbs.
personally, I hope for the big bags, but two of the practice days I couldn't muster 12 lbs. Boat # 197...........................

197............................So much for that bed fish I was lookin at! Looks like we'll just have to go fishin now!

Congrats to brother John for his 11 lber during the vanity cup!

See ya guys!

I was lucky enough to meet and talk to Jimmy the other day on the water and I just want to wish him the best of luck. Seemed like a real genuinely nice guy. Go get'em.

I think the fish are in shock a little from the quick temp rise. Three days of constant weather and the new moon on Sunday will help the bags grow each day.

a 15 mph wind can also add 5 lbs to each bag. Funny March so far with little wind and such clear water.

This event will be a good test of angling ablility and decision making.

Good luck and good fishing to everyone.

To see the pairings, check out http://flwserieswest.flwoutdoors.com/to ... t=pairings

A whole slew of familiar names...this is going to be a real shoot-out!

I especially like that Jay Yelas/Justin Lucas pairing.

Good luck Jimmy and GYCB ProStaff! This is historic!

You guys are making history. If I recall correctly, this is the first full field in a big dollar Pro-Am in the last twenty years! Rumor has it the Clearlake and Columbia River events are filling fast. I'll bet the overflow carries into the Stren Series and we end up with 2 major circuits with full fields.

Thanks to each and every angler who made this western dream come true. Thanks to FLW for having the foresight to give the west a try. My business demands prevent me from participating this year but I'm already setting aside time and money for next year!

Good luck to every one!
