SWIMBAIT QUESTION

I am confussed, with so many swimbaits out there and depths.when is the right time for say a shallow vrs a deep swimbait like a hipothetical 0 hud or a 16 hud ??

Jigs the time for the deeper swimbait is now as you want to fish it deeper pre spawn and shallower post spawn. At least that is what works for me and where I fish.

There is no specific time to use baits on top or bottom. You just need to try it and see how the Bass want it that day or area.

Get the ROF 12 for your first one. I did. I was stoked you can throw it deep and shallow. Then maybe get a slammer and then a rof 5. Seems like those will do you good. Wow, that's almost 130.00 for only three baits.

I agree with Marone and Don. A Hudd. and a Slammer is all any swimbaiter needs any where any time. As for when to go shallow or deep? I haven't figured that one out yet. I have caught swmbait fish shallow in winter and deep in the summer and vice versa. I think its more of a day to day (or even hour by hour)type thing than "shallow in one season and deep in another."
