Is there going to be shuttle service from Sunset Station to Callville for the weigh-ins?

Yeah, that's why I'm asking about the shuttle service. Her Godmother is arriving tomorrow from Germany at noon, so we pick her up from LAX, bring her to the house to freshen, then head out to Vegas tomorrow evening. I'll look for you and Rae El when we get there... shouldn't be too hard to find two drunk guys picking fights and singing karaoke!

Just talked to Rea L and Shuan B, they both said the wind is gusting 40-50 right now with 7 footers. I hope it calms down in the morning

Last I heard, it was supposed to lay down for the weekend. Let's hope that is the case... I rode back from Overton in that stuff with Aaron on the last day of the Open last year, and it wasn't a lot of fun. I sure got a driving lesson, though!

I was in 6 footers last year with Justin Kerr. That wasent fun but Justin got us home with a lightly sprayed face. Cant say that much for some others. There bilge pumps were still going when the came in to the marina

It's pretty calm here in town right now, but the weather says it's supposed to be 16mph or so. Good luck to y'all who will be out there & stay safe.

It was nice yesterday (Thurs) until around 2pm.....it was some of the worst wind I have seen in a long time....I wasn't on the water, but I'm sure it was ugly......we had a couple of guys (construction) get blown off scaffolding....one was pretty messed up.....it was very ugly in town....weather doesn't look good for the weekend either.....another front coming in Friday night and may have rain on Sunday....I won't be here, but good luck to all and yes, BE SAFE!!!!

We got up here around 12:30 last night, and it was an E-ticket ride just getting here. I talked to Lance on the way out, and he said someone spent the night in their rod locker up in Overton the night before, and also that Justin Kerr stayed up there overnight as well due to the 7-footers... can't vouch for the validity, but given what I experienced coming out I could certainly believe it.

It's still blowing pretty good, and did pretty much all night (the wife and I stayed up all night partying in the casino) - it will be 'interesting' so see how this ends up.
