Strike King Zero stickbait???

Post by BigBossMan »

Has anyone used a zero?
How is the senko versus a zero or any other brand of stickbait?

They are very different. The Zero floats and is very durable...the senko is just opposite. I prefer the zero for dropshotting or wacky rigging spots/smallies. One Zero will last you all day sometimes.

yeah they work. But they get unusably soft when fished for more than 30 minutes and have very little tail action. And considering that they are 4bucks for 4baits you might as well get 10baits for 5bucks with senkos. When in doubt always get the namesakes, not the imatations. Besides how many reports say, "Man, whacked em on a zero." Unless you are Greg Hackney, in which case, dont hurt me.

very interesting...I've fished 1 zero for hours without any usability issues. The one thing I have noticed they will light in color after a few hours - I think it's the salt dissolving from the bait so it leaves it full of tiny little voids which lightens the color.

I will pay $3+ for a bag as that bag might last me 3 or 4 trips. I'm yet to experience the normal senko complaint which is - 1 fish = 1 less senko

Hey I just started throwing a Mans hard head, they are like a sinko with a curly tail. they sink the same, and when you lift to drop again you get just as many hits as when they sink. Oh yeah and they are really tough, nailed 17 on it yesterday and its still like new.
