Nice meeting you as well, we were both quite happy to see how you did in the tournament. Congratulations again on two awesome days of fishing.

Sorry Mike, wasn't me. I saw Jimmy only on Sunday but we were under power and headed to a different spot so I didn't stop and fish anywheres near him. And I think I (or my wife!) would have remembered him going around us and saying Hi :)

Here's a picture of the fish taken by the wife, as Sieg noted at 8-11 it's her new personal best at Clear Lake, our new boat record and a hair bigger than my personal best at the lake which is a 7-10 :D

So Kurt, now the the wife has a bigger PB than you....does she still get to fish off of the "toon" or is she on "banky" duty til' you get a 8'12 or bigger?!?!?!?!?!

Who was more excited, you or her?

She caught the fish on a shakey head worm so at first when it was hammering the drag I figured she was snagged or her drag was set too loose as we had been catching 2-3lbers routinely with this bait, then the fish jumped and my heart skipped a beat when I saw it. I immediately put my rod down and got the net. She (Louise; aka Weez) fought the fish most excellently as it surfaced two more times. We finally got her in the net and both of us let out a big yell.

To answer your questions we were both equally excited and happy to land that fish and now I'm just hoping she continues to let me fish alongside her on her boat
