I was paired up with Mike Lavalee in the FLW Stren Series in May. He lost 5 or 6 rods on the way in on the third day. His straps broke with the rough water, and the rods were gone. I do not know his number, but he is from Sandy, Utah. You would know if the rod had been in the water for month or not, but thought to share the info in case it could be one he lost and you would like to have him describe it.
Good job trying to find its owner, we don't all do things like that anymore.
