Yes it is Jay Yelas and he is selling the boat he won for FLW angler of the year. I just thought it was cool he would post it here with all of his resources.

i noticed it too. Ish also posted a z19 and a z21 for sale just above him. they must be cleaning out their closets for the 2008 season.

Its good to see pros such as Ish, Jay, and Jarrett post in the Classifieds. I would really like to see them post on the board and be somewhat interactive on the site as well.

Not likely, that Ish will post here, there was some giant thread over guys on tv whooping it up for the camera. Fist pumping, and just going nuts over catching a fish.

If I remember right, he was also criticized about it, and didn't like it.

Once a thread becomes a flame war, the sponsored anglers have too much to lose by wallowing around with the pigs in the mud.

Keep in mind, great anglers might not be the best at tactfully defending themselves on the internet. A really good smart aleck can launch a cyber assault, and cause real harm fairly easily.

Many anglers read this forum, I think most guys would be surprised to know who they are. They just choose not to write along, for whatever personal or professional reason.

Andy, I understand and rember the interaction, however Gary is a prime example of being interactive (with Ask BDO) not necessarily repsonding to posts. Or perhaps an interview with Westernbass or video etc....

A few months Back Fred Roubanis posted a boat for sale in the classifieds. I sent him a pm and he personally called my cell! It would be cool to see alteast the west coasters post on here.

Its cool when they post, and stop by to visit. Not trying to knock anyone especially the big guy, because he has a tremendous amount of reach on me.

I think there were many more sniping events before the forum required you to register before posting.

And there is another thing to think about too. Why would guy give away good info, that might be part of the next toad tank show? It takes awhile to come up with new stuff, a new program. Why spill the beans, to your very audience that you are playing to at the next ISE show? Everyone wants to sound good, and not dated or just rehashing last years stuff.

Whatever your trade may be, a guy would be silly to give away all his lifetime experience at pouring concrete for example.

I think of seminars as kind of a striptease, and old school one. A little bit here and there, but never give up the goods. Keep them coming back for more.

be glad you see him post in the classifieds. lol. but highly doubt hell be back here for another round of lets bash ish.
