So what if the French have a few dead fish. Now if it was Perris, I'd be worried. lol Rick G.
Anglers Marine has been serving Southern California boaters and fishermen since 1981, with the West's largest bass fishing tackle store and the best boat dealership on the west coast.

Re: Fish kill at Parris
Just saw the pics, that absolutely makes me sick to my stomach!!! Who is responsible? or better yet who can we voice our opinions to? LEAVE THE CHEMICALS out of the lake, what is the point? The algea is a problem but the jet-skis, waterskiers, kids in diapers swimming, trash everywhere, is not a problem?? Heres a thought? Fill the lake back up and leave it alone.........

Re: Fish kill at Parris
hey fellow fishermen and woman as a first time poster and perris being my home lake this makes me sick! instead of bluestoning parts of the lake at different times the do the whole damn lake!
i agree with shawn r. their are other problems on the lake besides the weed beds...yes they can be a problem for shore fisherman but they are nice bass hide-a-ways. i havent been their since the blue stoning but i hear the fishing has picked up again...
i get my new ODC 816 on thursday! im going to give it a try out their i think, or i just might take the wife for her first float tube mission at jenks lake

Re: Fish kill at Parris
Yea that makes me sick too that's my honey hole..
i guess they blue stoned too much . or maybe should have done it in section's.
the lue stone removes a great deal of oxygen from the lake and there were "from report's" people taking large stringer's of bass from the lake that were floating trying to get air.
I dont think that i would eat those fish.

The State Department of Water Resorces is the one who sceduled for the treatment of the water. It sounds like they did not plan well in their application of the Copper Sulfate.
