Humboldt Guys....How many Boats?

Post by BassManDan »

How many people have bass boats that are interested in this club thing? I will be back up there come January, and you can count on my boat, I mean, I would be surprised if there were more than 6 or 7 boats, but maybe I'm just naive :o :o

Stlhd,
If you put this thing together, I will get you in touch with a few anglers of the HSU fisheries dept. Corey, Kevin, Sean, Trevor, James and maybe some others.

Really I am surprised that so many people are about bass, I don't know where they all have been hiding, but from what it seems, theres probably 20+ people who are interested, if not dedicated to bass angling.

If there are 10 or so boats, thats at least 20 people on the water and certainly enough people for a big weekend convoy to a fishing locale.

Well, I'm surprised (how many times have I said that?!) but it seems that everyone is willing to respect FW Lagoon, which was obviously my main worry, but it sounds like this thing might just work.

Let me know boaters,

I'm in for the tournaments that do not conflict with my tournament schedule for sure. I've already told a couple other people who would be interested in fishing as non-boaters.

I would also be in as long as they didn't conflict with other tournaments I'm fishing. I know my tournament partner would be also and we both have boats. And I know acouple of other guys with boats who would be interested and I know at least four non boaters.

Stonefly,
There is the possiblilty of a bass club forming in Humboldt. It sounds like it is going to be a casual club, with some "tournaments" at Trinity, Whiskeytown, maybe Clear Lake, etc.

I have organized a small club of bass anglers at HSU, now to my surprise, there are a whole bunch more bass anglers up in the Humboldt area, and even more surprising, alot of them have boats and want to put a fun club together.

Just keep an eye on the Humboldt posts to see what's going on.

All the best,
