Norv must go

Post by Rick G »

Who is the idiot that screwed up the Chargers by hiring this Turkey. He stunk at the Redskins and Raiders and now his loser aura has surrounded a pretty good team. The fans were chanting "Marty" all game. Sounds like a Gm needs to get axed at the end of the season. Rick G.

Absolutely! What were they thinking? Norv couldn't get it done anywhere else. It's not like he doesn't have the horses. I thought Marty's "One Play, just make this one play" strategy was right on. Too bad he couldn't win in the playoffs.

After last night's Padre debacle I know why I moved to Sacto. I can suffer here just as well as in SD and I got a raise.

re-think that statement after the whippin they just put on the Bronco's. I'm actually a Cowboys fan, but it looks like the "sleeping giant" has awoken. 41-3 Chargers!! That's about as good a @ss whippin you could put on a team. Tomlinson looked like his old self. NORV looked like a master!!!! I remember when he was our offensive coordinator. Took the Cowboys to the SB 3 times and won all three!!!

67 yards rushing, 73 yards recieving, NO TDS. LT is still FAR from where he was last year! The back up Turner, at 173 rushing yards and a long TD, now that musta been who you saw Sunday running ruffshod on the Broncos!! HAR! HAR! HAR!

Coming from a long, long time Charger fan  (Fouts,Winslow,Joyner,Muncie days) I can not blame Norv for taking the Chargers head coach job.( any head coach would love it) I blame and hate A.J Smith the GM who hired Turner and Fired Marty. We could of hired Wade or Cameron and only change or offense or defense. But lets go get Turner and change are offense and defense.A.J Smith is the one who should be fired. Marty goes 14-2 and you fire him.A.J you idiot.I don't care about the Chargers shlaking of the Broncos, or to be honest if they one a Super bowl with Turner,I would still Hate A.J Smith for Fireing Marty.

Poor Marty.....Just a Myopic pet! LOL

Post by Cooch »

He was great at Cleveland, got em respect, always made the play offs. He worked his Magic in KC, damn they were always good, had great Fantasy players too! And he took San Diego from the dumps and made a nice team ut of em the past few years. The only problem with MArty is, his teams NEVER git ya to the promise land, and it's always because of an on the field decission he makes in the big game. Loosing Marty wasn't the end of the world Mark, being stuck with a clown like Smith, is the same curse the Raiders are stuck in with Davis! Be patient, unlike the Raiders, there's a plenty of talent down in SD. If those players are as talented as we think, they will adapt and the wins will start coming again.
