Congratulations Hubspinna

Post by sTony »

Gary Collins won the Federation Championship on Castaic this afternoon. He weighed in three fish today for a total over 17 pounds to take the win.

Sean James and Troy Lindner also did well and finished in the top three and will be boaters at the TBF Regionals. Not sure who else made the team but congrats to all that participated.

Thanks Tony and Greg.

What a brutal tournament. The front that went through on Friday all but shut off the bite.

Thought I blew it this afternoon when I missed 8 fish in the last two hours  The fish were eating the bait funny and wouldn't stayed hooked up. At that point all I could do was hope that everyone else was having as tough a time at it. But thankfully it all worked out in the end for me.

I would like to thank all the TBF staff and all the volunteers that made this event happen. Great Job!

Hey Gary,
Great job!!!
Sounds like it was a tough bite and you were able to make the adjustments to win.
You'll do a great job leading the State Team to the Championships.
