FLW Conservation Grant for New Melones??

I read an article in the October issue of FLW Outdoors that stated California is to have an "artificial reef habitat" at New Melones.

Apparently, this is just one of seven states to receive a Grant from the BASS Federation.

When is this going to happen?

What part of the Lake?

And ...what is an artificial reef habitat?

Does the BASS Federation events visit the Nor-Cal Motherlode lakes? Tony, is there a schedule for 2008 yet??

Cool deal anyway, just wondering about a few things here???

It's a National Guard grant via TBF and FLW and not BASS. I'd give yo more details but I'm no longer the Federation president and am not affiliated with TBF or the State Federation other then being a member of an affiliated club. Craig Eller is the new president and Scott Sweet is the vice president. It's likely best to email them for answers. The have their contact info on the state website at www.californiabass.org.
