Lowrance Training is put on by Capt. Jack Findleton, Jeff Boyer and Mike Campbell from Lowrance. Sign-ups for those seminars is by phone/walk-in on Monday Nov. 12th at 9:00am. Only 60 people each day for the Hands on Training. If you want to just sit and watch, feel free any day. There is normally a $100.00 fee for this seminar around the country but like ALL seminars at the Bass-a-thon it is FREE. Rick G.

That's awesome, Rick, although I was very disappointed that Ike wasn't able to make it. Should be another banner Bass-A-Thon though, and I'm looking forward to being there start to finish.

For those nutcases who don't know me, I'll be walking around with a Canon 1DS camera taking pictures of the event, so please come up and introduce yourselves!

Glad to see the Classic champ. Ike is great but this is a one heck of a replacement. I myself am very interested in what he has to say. I also can't wait to have a little 1 on 1 to talk about some of the power bait stuff.

According to Mercury, Boyd Duckett puts on one of the best seminars in the country on Tournament preperation. Especially the "Mental" approach. Very sharp guy. Rick G.

I've got camera envy tunaman! That's a nice camera. I've been waiting for Canon to replace the 5D with it's next generation FF body. Either that or get the 40D... :D :D

Yeah - it's a beauty. I've also got a 10D and 20D, but they don't hold a candle to the 1DS. I think the 40D is a great body - they've done a great job with the pro-sumer models.

All I've got is a Hassleblad and a Rebel XT, both of which will be with me in N. Italy next week until the end of November.

I'll miss the event, first time in four years... bummer. But at least I won't have to trip over a bunch of guys sleeping it off around the edges of the building.

Hey Rick....so is that what Boyd will be talking about? What about the rest of the speakers? Do they have a planned topic they will talk about or just general Q&A?

No cover charges - Anglers puts it all on for free!

They do make a small killing with all the sales and traffic, but that's fair and reasonable! Last year was my first, and I was there from before the doors opened on Saturday until they closed up on Sunday after the Deal or No Deal boat giveaway. I'll be doing it again this year as well.

From what I hear from the BASS Tour guys Boyd is kinda like the Anthony Robbins of Bass fishing. Very positive and upbeat at all times and most of the pro's go to him for guidence and confidence boost's when they need one. Mental Prep is a huge part of Tournament success and I believe that is one of the topics Boyd will go over. The rest of the speakers topics we usually discuss when they get into town, but they are always different each day. As we get closer to the show, I will keep everyone informed. Rick G.

Saw Ike a couple years back at the Bass A Thon, he was a great speaker, made me dislike him much less then what I've seen on TV, but I'd rather see Boyd, nice!! :D
