Piru

Wondering if anyone has been to Piru lately? Is there any bite to speak of? I know the water is low, was wondering how low it is? Thanks for any info.

Water is really really really low. Lake is like 1/3 of the size I'd say. Finesse tactics...small worms...split shot, drop shot, etc....Throw a med diving crank with chartreuse on the belly in the upper end of the lake(shallows), and make sure to fan cast the flats(15ft or less).. Good Luck..cuz the bite is pretty tuff....

Was there for a club tourney 2 weeks ago. Tons of 12 inch fish on everything from spider jigs to drop shot. The dam produced large numbers on drop shot in a red color.
