Join us for our second tournament of the season for the Southwest Region this Saturday, December 1, 2007 at CASTAIC. AT THE WEST RAMP.

We will be signing up for the tournament at the lake starting at 4:00 a.m. Hot coffee, danish and juice will be offered to those interested.

Our first tournament was won by Troy Lindner and Gary Collins with 22.66# with the big bass of the tournament weighing 5.90#. With 39 teams first place brought home winnings of $5,185.

This year RIVER MARINE, in Yuma, Arizona is sponsoring our 2008 Havasu Classic on September 26th/27th, 2008. RIVER MARINE is guaranteeing that the first place team at the 2008 Havasu Classic will receive a SKEETER ZX190 powered by a YAMAHA 150 hpdi. Additionally there will be a cash payout starting at second place.

This year we are continuing to offer the GUARANTEED PAYOUT. No matter how many teams participate, we will pay down at least 10 spots with $6,000:

Had that fer Thanksgiving

Turned my four day fishing weekend into a 2 hour trip Sunday Afternoon. But the two hours were rewarding...very...very...very...rewarding

I have received calls regarding the time that the west gate will be closed and what time the event will start. I have spoken with the staff at Castaic lake regarding this.

We will close the west gate at 5:45 a.m. We shall draw for the first boat out at our meeting at 6 a.m. then launch. We will call the first boat out at 6:30 a.m. to start the tournament.

How's the grandbaby Lynne?

I did get to spend the day with Rylan today. I took Katie, Rylan, and the two kids that I babysit (ages 4 months and 4 years old) Christmas shopping today. Rylan is now 2 weeks and he is so sweet. Kids are such joys. Shopping probably took us at least twice as long but we had the best time. Mike and I are going to miss the grandkids when they move to Idaho. I will definately have frequent flyer miles. It's great since x-press jet has a non-stop flight (a little over 2 hours) round trip for $160!
I told Katie that Shane was at his first tournament at DVL and in the driver's seat! He is adorable. If I don't see you before Christmas, our family wishes your family a very Merry Christmas filled with lasting memories of Shane's first Christmas, lots of joy and many, many blessings.
