WOOD LURE HOW DO I FIX CHIPS
I HAVE A SAMMY 100 WOOD LURE THAT HAS A CHIPS ON IT HOW DO I REPAIR THAT OR SHOULD I NOT WORRY ABOUT IT THANKS ALOT GEORGE
Re: WOOD LURE HOW DO I FIX CHIPS
leave it, it builds charater, plus if you used it enough to bang it up that bad the fish must really like it. I wouldent change a thing or fix the digs it might make the lure change its action.

Leave it be, that way you know its a confidence bait!
Sometimes an old "seasoned" bait will do the trick, hell KVD one the classic on an old beat up smithwick.
If you feel the need to fix it, just get some pain that is a close match and then get some 5 minute epoxy. Paint on a very thin layer of epoxy so you dont alter the baits action. If there is a deep gough then you can fill that with epoxy, paint and epoxy on top, and unless your fixin a lot of goughs, you shouldnt change the bait in any serious way.
