So at my last Delta tournament the T.D. made an announcement at the begining of the day to stay clear of the duck blinds. Does this mean go around franks? Or can I still blast through the middle? I was going to just watch was other boats did, but the ones in front of me went the other direction.
Thanks,
Ryan

Re: Duck Blinds
They were smart Ryan, Stay clear an be smart. Usually there out there until 10-11am. Depends on the weather conditions and what way the wind is blow'in. You never know which blind has hunter's in them.

Re: Duck Blinds
So does this mean go the long way around Franks tract? Or cut through just giving them space? I would prefer to give them space and go around, but if everyone else is running through the middle and that is not an issue, then I will too.
Basically, If you were going to run to holland tract from Russo's how would you go?
Thank you,
Ryan

Re: Duck Blinds
I take it your going to launch at Russo's. Thus, go south and out the South Gate and head towards the 2nd opening. If you go thru the Middle of Franks (Duck Blinds) you just might get spread with little tiny tiny pellets. Its up too you, I assume your over 21 an have a brain.
You can also look at this another way. You want to give bassfisherman a bad name????? I live here like Cooch, and Bobby and many Locals. We all go around, Period.

Re: Duck Blinds
that and there are more damn coots out there this year than I have ever seen........... beware of coot poop on the windshield

Re: Duck Blinds
Head out into Franks through the 5 mph area, go straight South staying parellel to the concrete wall until you pass the opening in the wall. Once there, you can head SE.
There is 1 duck blind all by itself between there and the Holland entrance......you choose to either go E or W of it.....safest for you is to stay W until you pass it, then cut E and your home free.
Or you can you do what I've seen plenty do........take yer chances and blast though without regard to those guys with guns!
