Which Dobyn's Rod
Which Dobyn's Rod
We don't have any dealers here in the south but I'm looking for a jerkbait rod. Which one would be the best. Also will there be any at the Classic in Greenville SC

RB, actually there are a few dealers back there, but perhaps not where you are located. I have heard that Dobyns Rods will be at the Classic, and will be on display at the TackleWarehouse booth. I believe there will be several people there that can show you the different actions for jerkbaits. As far as the rods, for an all around jerkbait rod you might look at the 704CB or 705CB, these rods will cover most ripping needs, if your throwing the bigger baits alot, the 706CB is where you will want to go. All these rods retail at
$169.99 and in my opinion are a great value. If you would like, I can have someone back there contact you, if you PM me your contact info. Hope this helps, and you find the rod you need.

Great recommendations, the Cb line is incredibly versatile, and as Gary Dobyns know a thing or two about ripping, you know the rods are Designed and made beautifully.
if you cant find one locally, try Tackle warehouse or another board sponsor...perhaps Jigs shop
Good luck

Re: Which Dobyn's Rod
705CB is my favorite by far for jerkbaiting. Tacklewarehouse does a great job w/ cust service and took care of me anytime I needed some help.
You'll be very happy w/ the 705cb.
