I was re-reading some magazine articles about the 25lber that was boated in 2006 in SoCal. Mike Winn is holding that monster by her lower jaw. Can't this do permanent damage to a bass of that weight?
Also, at what weight would holding a bass this way be okay to do?
I caught an 11.2 back in 2005 and held her by the lower jaw too. I'm wondering if I did her any damage??
Would it be best to support the bass with both hands to ensure no damage is done?
Your responses appreciated!

Re: Question about holding bass for pictures
Hold with both hand....With one, her jaw may break or at least pull tendence's. Sore mouth for a while anyway.
