Its a great rod!!! I have both the 795ml and the 806ml and they are my two favorite sb rods. They are both very versatile. You can even throw a hudd on the 795

Both great rods..I am partial to the 806. Brings in big dogs like nothing. Easy to throw and comfortable.

Would the 806 be better suited for the 8" Hudd? Is the only difference between the 806 ML SB and 806 H SB the handle material and length? I'm torn between the 795 ML SB and 806 for an all-around swimbait rod.

The 806ML is perfect for huds...The other 806 does have a shorter handle because MR. Dobyns prefers it.. Both are perfect for the huddy.

That rod is great I caught big fish of the last Shasta won bass pro am on mine. I like it for smaller 6 inch stuff or for throwing my super secret topwater jointed swimbaits I'm developing

The 806 H is an awesome all around swimbait rod and will definetely throw the hudd! It will also throw the smaller swimbaits with no problems. I own several of the 806's, 807's, and one each of the 795 and 866. The 806H is definetely the most versatile of the bunch.
