I couldn't listen to the HORSESH*T at the Casitas Meeting...

Post by Kelly Ripa »

I'm home... when I left I had heard three board members who hadn't heard a word that was presented to them vote for partial closure for a few months yada yada yada or an undetermined amount of time ...and or It's not closed you can rent a boat or fish from the shore or a kayack and I'm pretty sure you can rent a space and keep your boat there for 80 bucks a month. Hey dude I like it at my place it's free and I don't have to diassemble it everytime I go or come from fishing..... They never listen to one person...I'm pretty sure that they are high on power though. I was totally embarrassed by the way one of the board members treated the Dept. of fish and Game representative. He (DFG) offered to give them State help in procuring a cleaning station call anytime....And they wanted 100% assurance that no quagga would get in the lake when they were told by the state that infestation was caused in mead by an infested boat and all lakes subsiquient were contaminated because the lakes were in some way connected to the Colorado. DFG has not closed the lakes in San Diego nor do they recomend it but ...They know better....The came with closed minds and as I sit here typing they are to some degree closing the lake....Cachuma is next. There will be a meeting held on March 11th to determine it's fate but two COMB members ( Cachuma Waterboard ) spoke during the comments portion of the forum and said unequvically that they would not vote to open it to boating again until such time that they had measures in place that would gaurantee no mussles in the lake. Looks like I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue. In face of the evidence put to the board it surely pointed out that they clearly not only do the not have a grip on what it takes to keep a lake quagga free...The also don't care that they about to start a depression on top of the one that has begun. Fools and Bastards of Bastards is what they are. It was packed thanks to all who spoke....I'm done I could go on about this for a lifetime ....Enough

The lake is closed for a year I hear...Bitch'n

It was ugly and pre-decided...glaringly so. Baggerly should have his vote removed due to his outburst on Terry which showed his mind was already made up.
