PB at Folsom at Last!!!!!! At a Firefighter Turkey Shoot

Way cool, this never happened to me before. I just attended a "SHAVE FOR THE CURE-AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY" fund raiser for American Cancer Sociate put on by the Sac-Metro fire departments and I'm now bald(cold on my noggin). My son Jim(Peet) has cancer and the guys all went and had their heads done for a donation. It was in the Bee, channel 40, 3, 31 so if you accidently see an old bald guy that would be me, lol.
Anyhow around 10am, 6inch green weenie, 1/8oz. darthead, 8lb. flourocarbon in 10ft. of water, she hit, what a thrill. She's my personal best on Folsom at 8lbs. Here I was throwing all my fancy baits-for 2 hours nada. All I needed was one spinning rod and a sandwich bag of 6inch worms plus an 1/8oz darhead. Anyone want to buy any swimbaits cheap? All fish were released alive and well. (ps we won, around a 16lb. bag)

Way to go Paul..Not too sure about the shaved head thing, but it sure saves money on buying combs..Just have to make sure and slather on some extra sun block..

Paul, My son and I were suppose to fish the event with you guys but we had motor problems. I just retired and my son works at Metro also.

Glad to hear about your PB and glad to know Jim got to go fishing. He is a great guy and we are all hoping and praying for the best for him.

PS- Heard a very interesting/mind enlightening term for Cancer on a Kaiser Commercial today .... "I have Cancer ~~ But it does not have me" ........ That was the first commercial I have ever seen on T.V. in the longest of time that made me think instantly "WOW.... GOOD STUFF" !!

Hey, I couldn't have picked a better partner. Just get in and catch 2 fish right? thank god I had 5 hours to do it. It was a great day and I cant wait to do it again!
