Maybe 175......with say 50 of those early morning/late evening trips of 4 hrs or less. Just buy yourself a year long pass at the local ramp and you'll never hesitiate.

I've been logging between 75 and 150 days since I was 16 years old. And thats mostly in WA and OR states so no winter fishing...

This year I'll probably only get 60-70 days in. (newborn came in Feb!)

...oh yeah, this is kind of a dumb thing to say b/c it really doesn't matter...but I've meet tons of guys who swear they fish 100+ days per year and I only see them go out one or twice a month.

For those of us who didn't graduate college (or high school), here's the math:

Once a month = 12 trips per year
Twice a month = 24 trips per year
Once a week = 52 trips per year
Twice a week = 104 trips per year
Three times a week - 156 trips per year

...remember, if you don't fish during boat/truck maintenance, holidays, rain, or wind, then you're probably not getting out as much as you might think.

I think most guys fish between 25-45 times per year.

I think the average bass fisherman in the US only fishes 18 days per year according to the Fish and Game department.

Now if you fish during the day, fully load your boat on the trailer, but have a night tournament that night, does that count as 1 or 2 trips?

Hey, someone had to be the smartass......
