would like to put my 6yr old boy on some bluegill...help!

last year found a spawning area in mildred....saw fish in beds in pairs...my son had a blast catching .

this was around may of last year......been checking the same area and no blugill this year but maybe the spawn is later thisyear?

can anyone tell me of an area that holds blugill? i want to try this sat.

Discovery Bay. wax worms. rear of docks with rocks..

aberden hook..makes removal way easier.

Try Woodward, Discovery Bay, or the docks at/around Orwood.

If you are willing to drive up to Clear Lake, there are some monster bluegill spawning right now in the north end of the lake. I was actually mistaking them for small bass (which are still spawning too).
