news said temp was 107 there yesterday. oh boy everyone ready for a vto barbecue...................

Yes it will be a hot one, I think it is expected to cool down to 100 for the tournament. I am worried about enough ice for our drinks in our coolers on the boat. Hopefully all will work out. Hope to see everyone up there in support of our new tournament format it will be a great event. Good luck to all Anglers and all of you VTOs make sure to take notes and have fun also

I am going up there just to fun fish with my buddy that just got into bass fishing, I think he would really like to see the weigh in, where will the weigh in be or will there be a weigh in?

I know what you mean about the heat.I'm used to the fog in Monterey I'm sure I'll get heatstroke

I have been to Konocti restuarant and docks many times but I do not know where the casino is, where is the casino and we are talking Fri the 11th correct?

Yes it's on Friday the 11th.

The Konocti Vista Casino is in the northern part of the lake here:

It's on the state park side of the lake up past long tule point. You can access the casino from the water assuming they have dock space remaining.

Just stayed at K V Casino July 8 and 9, it was seriously hot. The fishing was good for us early before it warmed up too much, Evening bite was also good. There is a ton of grass in the K V Casino cove and at their lauch. Our trailer came out of the water looking like a sea monster. Might want to consider using the trolling motor to get out of the cove. It was causing our water pressure alarm to go off but cleared once we got out to the open water

They have a great bug hatch coming off in their pool

Did I mention the fishing is good.
