Huddleston 12 and 5 help please....

Hi guys, Im in the process of getting all my gear together for swimbait fishing. I have the huddleston 12, 5, 0. I have never caught anything on the 12 or the 5. Can any of you give me some tips and techniques for catching with these baits???

When you are retrieving them as slow as you possibly can, slow down more. Good luck and dont be afraid to work these baits deep and in structure. Good luck!

its by far the best overall swimbait out and years ahead of its competition it can catch fish under all conditions just be patient but u cant go wrong with slow rolling it.

On your home lake or whereever you fish the most...start with places you have caught fish before.

After that, start trying different areas and throwing up to 2 foot of water and slowly dragging it out...alway keeping in touch with the bottom...

As for the 5...the same thing but you are trying to fih it about 2 to 5 feet down...

The Hudd will get bit...just keep throwing...until you find the right speed...

Go to the Huddleston Deluxe web site and watch Butch Brown fish this lure. If you are using the 8" trout models, you will need heavy 7'10" to 8' swim bait casting rod and at least 20 lb mono or 25 lb fluoro line.
With the 6" you can get buy with a little lighter tackle, although the heavy swim bait rod works well for both.
Start by casting around the major points; work all the angles and "swim" the lure, it's not a crankbait! If you fell a bump, then crank it about 4 or 5 turns and swing. Good luck.
