I can't speak for the Anglers Choice trail, but I can tell you that I really like the WON Pro/Am events. They are well-run, draw very well (especially up North), have a very talented pool of Pros, and being that they are shared-weight it is a great learning opportunity IMHO.

I cast my vote for WON. This was my 1st season fishing pro ams I did the north div . This season I am doing both north and south looking forward to them. All the guys I fished with were good fisherman and nice people also. If I can give you one word of advice get into the options . You never know who you draw and where you end up. It cost me $$$$.$$ all my pros said they learned the hardway also. ONTHETHING !!!

Ash, I do believe AC is going to be doing the Pro/Am's in 09. I seen a schedule on here somewhere.

Thanks guys, I stand corrected I went to there website to look for details and only saw where it explained why it wasn't economically viable to hold them. It appears I stand corrected.

What is the entry fee for AAA in the AC?

I fished AC pro ams, on the AM side, I liked it and would do it again. Fishing as an AM I would fish the cheapest one because the pay backs for the AM side sucks, no matter what circut you fish.

I've fished both as an AM for a few years. WON tends to draw a larger field and a few more of the big name guys. But either way they're both good and I'm glad AC events are back again for 2009. I say find a way to fish both :D

That AC triple weigh in at Clear Lake last august was really cool. I'd like to see more of those

if boils down to a strickly $ issue, AC is a little cheaper

fun and learning is what the AM side of these is all about.....unless yer talking the NG,,, payback on the AM side is not the best.
