Clearlake tackle question...
Need the name of the tackle shop closest to Red Bud that might carry inspection stickers....thinking about going up and launching at Red Bud Sunday and need to find out their hours of operation.
Thanks,
Tom

I don't know the name but it is half a block before the Red Bud launch entrance on the left side. They open at 6.00 a.m. and it won't take long. It's right there just before the entrance you can't miss it.

Mendez broke the agreement the had to buy it. Jeff got screwed pretty good out some serious inventory in the process. We are all boycotting Anglers choice next year.

Re: Clearlake tackle question...
Mike, I'm extremely disappointed in regards to your post about this topic. You have made negative remarks about someone on a personal level, about a subject you know very little about. This forum should be used with the intention of making us all become better fisherman and not to make comments about others personal or business related affairs. As for the tackle shop, yes Jeff re-acquired the shop back after Mark had owned it for one year. Obviously, both parties involved did not come to an agreement as to the final cost of the shop when the one year contract ended. The contract that Jeff knowingly signed also stated that if both parties did not reach an agreement, Jeff would get the shop back with the same amount of inventory as when Mark took over. Mark actually had more inventory in the shop than the specified amount and both Mark and Jeff agreed as to which products would be taken by Mark to make the deal square. I know that Jeff was upset about the deal. He probably didn’t paint a pretty picture when you spoke to him at the shop. I can't say I blame Jeff for being mad, but I also can't condone the deliberate, defamation of ones character because a business deal fell through. As for the comment about Jeff getting, "screwed pretty good out of some serious inventory". It is just not true. Jeff and I went through the inventory ourselves prior to Jeff taking back over the shop. If anything, I think Jeff made out pretty good. He got free expansion of the shop, improvements to the building, and a lot of top of the line tackle that was never in that store before. To say that you are boycotting Angler's Choice because of this, that seems a little extreme to me but that is your choice. We will miss you. Lippa Out

Hey Jeff, I can only guess that you forgot about money paid to you in the last 12 months.
You took at approx 100k of my money, from deposits, monthly payments, taxes and insurance, for which I will not receive anything for, if I did not close escrow. That was my risk and I will write it off as a loss. I improved your building and inventory and added space at my cost. I am a big boy and made a business decision not to throw good money after bad with the declining real estate values. You had the opportunity to adjust to the current market and chose not to. No problem, it's your property. You did not hear me crying. Your claim of incorrect inventory is hilarious ! You personally took the inventory with the staff for the 5 days prior and we let you pick what inventory stayed or went. That's a fact ! Why lie ? Man up ! Run your business and go fishing.
Sour grapes is fine and I am done posting on this myself, so blast away with more B.S.
