What exactly is a progressive?

Just a question. I have own ideas but would like an explanation from a self proclaimed progressive.

The term itself is a shortened version of "socially progressive" or, those who believe in the principle that all people are equals.

I'm out of the country for the next week. Try not to miss me too much, everyone. :wink:

Simply stated, the term "progressive" is is in lieu of "socialist". Sounds better politically, and hides the true political bent of the socialist. Nothing more - nothing less.

If you want to fully subscribe to political propoganda, then "conservative" is used in lieu of "fascist." Nothing more, nothing less.
