Good luck to all the West coast Anglers. :D :D
You are so right, What matchups...
The West Coast guys can really make a name for themselves nationwide. I really like how they get the chance to show just how good they can catch em. Some of the matchups are unbelievable and I sure wish I was there to watch it live and root em on....
A DONKEY factory like this should play into some of our West coast strengths... :D off shore structure where electronics and big baits come into play. :) :)

Sure hope to catch this on TV.

Go west coast sticks...

I heard Nixon is not coming. Too afraid of Rooke is my guess. IMO if the East guy is a no show the West guy should get a bye.

I heard there is no prize money if you beat you man just for the over all winner is that true? That is a big expense to drive there if you get no money.

It is up front. But last place at FLW Championship gets $7,000. So you get that money back if you make the champ.

I saw that some on each side were not going for various reasons. Some made the Forrest Wood Cup throught the Stren. They then take the next in line. This is not a knock on a great fisherman, but I was curious why Cody Meyer did not give up his spot so another had a chance at the Cup since there is no money involved. Like I said, just curious.

One reason one would not give up their spot for this (even though they are already in the FLW Cup) is the chance to get on T.V. ...The E vs W fish off is going to be on FSN....just thinkin on the sponsor angle.

Good for you man. Told you he would be tough. Good thing you didn't draw Hawkes.

Also, congrats to Zaldain and the other 8 west coast guys that beat their east coast competitors. Was a heck of an event.
