Fosom Tomorrow

Post by Bigfish »

Hey Guy's,

Going to Folsom Monday, any tips for me? I have not fished Folsom in the winter in about 3 years. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanx, Bigfish

I was out there yesterday. I wished I went Striper fishing instead. I graphed one bait ball all day at the Penninsala in about 30 feet of water. The bait is scattered on ledges from 40 to 50' of water. I dropshotted, cranked and dragged jigs without any bites. Water temp was between 46 and 49 F. The warmer water is at the mouth of New York Cove. Yah  I agree Stay Home or go striper fishing instead. Save your money for the ISE Show :? KB is the expert of this lake.

I'm not getting a Warm Fuzzy right now! I'm fishing on a friends boat so I can't cancel on him. So wish me good luck, sounds like I should get on my knee's and pray for some Fish.

Thanx Bigfish

Fished out there a few weeks ago. Found fish where you usually find them off rocky points around 30' down. Fish moved up as the day progressed.

All the usual baits. Dartheads on the usual colors. Had to let it sit for a few seconds or they got it on the fall. I caught no swimbait fish.

There are some guys getting the good ones. I would like to know what they're doing as well  !

Should be a good day out there, wish I didn't have to work.

Good luck
I had to come back...I know...

Hula grubs watermelon/gold silver flake,Cinnamon/black flake, Cinnamon/purple black flake. Use these on footballhead light wire jig heads OR Carolina rigged. Drag............... them from shore out to 45 feet of water banging them on as much rocks as possible.when you find some rock piles in deep water pop that hula grub over 1 rock then let it sit for about 10 seconds then pop it again and let it sit. Sometimes when you go to pop it you will just fill weight no bite set the hook and hold on!!!!!!!! Brown/ Purple 3/8 to 1oz. football head Rodstrainner jigs with brown or black Superpork will also put some fish in the boat.
C-rigged 6" Mother's Finest worm in #39 Mojave Oxblood is A my secret bait for Folsom so don't tell anyone

GOOD LUCK, Terry
