What Magazines do you read

Post by Morgan »

So I just received my 1st copy of Bass Angler’s Guide ( had received a free one at a seminar in Fresno and was impressed). I really think this is a great publication. I then got to thinking about the others I read.

I travel a lot, so have the time to read.

B.A.S.S. Times (good read for all the conservation articles and winning tournament Techniques)
Western Outdoor News (ok for what was happening)
Western Outdoors (some good articles, and keeps me up on trout stuff)
Bassmaster (Ok, just keep getting this out of habit. Since they don't support us out on the West coast, thinking about cancelling)
Bass West (I'm not renewing this, too late, too many large pictures, not enough articles)
FLW (Didn't order this, but since our club joined for the insurance, I will get it automatically).

Just wondering, what everyone else reads. (or doesn't) and why?

I love all of the above because I can glean useful info from all of them.

I also subscribe to Cook's Illustrated because I love to cook and it is without a doubt the best cooking mag available.

Bass & Walleye Boats, Car and Driver, Road and Track, Autoweek, Fish Sniffer, Kiplingers, Consumer Reports, Mac Life, The Week.

Got a thing about engines. Preferably the faster, the better. Land or lake, doesn't matter. Wish my Merc sounded like a big cammed V-8 with open headers

Inside Line is no longer a published\printed magazine only online content available. Asking Gary to type a report, well I think we will have full lakes before he is finished

Here, I'll help Gary out by posting this link to his US Open report. http://www.insideline.net/il-online/200 ... trail.html. Also, Inside Line has really stepped up the frequency of their articles so check a couple times a week. I think you'll be impressed with not only the quality of the articles but the number they're putting out.
