You should contact LEI Extras for the proper parts, t's and terminators. They have kits that you can buy with multiple parts in a single kit.

The website is http://www.lei-extras.com/store/default.asp

if they are the blk connectors: no go
if they are blue or the red connectors u will need a small color extention from the bow unit to the console area, a t-connector and another short extention from the console to the t-connector. each side of the t is different so there is no way to hokk it up wrong.

You should have some wires coming out of the power/data cable that are color coded and one bare/ground wire on each unit. Those are Transmit and Recieve wires. They look like phone wires. Splice the units together with those wires. You will need to make one a Master unit (the one with the puck) and one a slave. Hit menu twice, go to "system setup", choose "communication port". For the "master" unit select "NMEA output", and for the "slave", go through the same menu options and choose "NMEA GPS input". All done.

I almost forgot, I believe you have to splice the wires opposite of each other. Transmit/recieve recieve/transmit. The bare wire splices to the other bare wire.

Your units are not NMEA 2000 compatible. You will have to use the instructions given above for splicing communication wires. I also don't think your units will share waypoints but I could be wrong about that.

Your legacy X-15 / 16 CI head unit may need to be sent back to Lowrance to have the GPS program updated before trying to network one antenna. Shipping & updates run about $60 each unit. I would contact Lowrance tech before going any further.
