Went there a week ago...fishing was slow..but did manage 2 decent spots and one two pound largemouth..all caught dragging a greenpumpkin brush hog painfully slow in about 30ft of water..all off points...threw jigs jerkbaits spoons dropshot...they liked the brush hog

I had some success at Berryessa today....only the BIGGEST BASS OF MY LIFE!!! (See Berryessa Report on the Reports Page).

The Brush Hog was the ticket for me as well. I did catch some bass a week ago on a green pumpkin Ultra Vibe worm by Zoom and a green pumpkin Sweet Beaver (the Zoom version of green pumpkin is more of a brown color and the Beaver is more green). The spot I caught spit up a little gobey-looking baitfish the exact same color as the Zoom green pumpkin.

I just looked at my Brush Hog wrapper and it says plain old "Pumpkin" without the "green" in front of it...my bad.

By the looks of the threads today a lot of personal bests were landed this weekend. Big fish are biting!
