My Nitro 901 CDX has a 94" width beam. I have check Ranger, Skeeter, Champion and the rest are 84 to 88. The Z9 has 96' I believe. So I would say Nitro has the biggest deck.

Uhm, not to be argumentative, but the Ranger Z520, Z20, Z21 and Z522 models have a 95" beam... not sure where you got your information from Mark?

What year was that? Ranger and Champion are 95. Beam has little to do with front deck width. Most of these boats are wider to the back.

The Bass Cat Puma has a 94" Beam My classic which is a 19' boat has a 93" Beam.

It seemed to me that the skeeters I have been in have felt wider, but width aint everything

I'm going by my boat year 2006. When I did some Reserch in 2006 Nitro had the widest beam. They still seem to be the widest at 96'.
Wasn't trying to be miss leading, just stating what I saw. My bad.

kirk i should have bought you skeet from you, but we put the money into fixing up the house, its been up for 2 weeks and we have about 10 people looking at it... as soon as we sell, and get the new place up north, it will be time for a new sled........... thanks guys for the info, ash, i know the width isnt everything, but im getting up their in age, and a big platform helps the back, im just getting some info..... my 95 champion, is only 17"-6 and i get pretty beat up...and dont have much room for rods on the deck, without stepping on them :(

The largest front deck width I've seen are a RangerZ520 and a 21ft. newer Champion. Bass Cats tend to be narrower in the bow- hence fast, and a Triton X series kinda in between. One morning while awaiting a Lake opening we measured a bunch. We should make sure all the boats are measured back a set distance from the bow- like we do with surfboards- we measure 1ft. back from nose, 1 ft. up from tail, and mid- point- otherwise it's meaningless. I think I measured back 3 feet from the bow. Although being a "team member" I should say my brand is widest, fastest, blah blah blah.

Phil

I Know you should of got my boat but now that its gone and you don't have it

Trust me look at ALL the Skeeter ZX models even in a 18.5 ' boat the front deck is BIG you don't care about the back deck the wife does not fish and your not looking to fish trny's

If I was you I would be looking for a Used TZX 190 or a ZX 200 with a 2.6 L Yammie (not the big block) the boat would still be fast but not suck down the gas like a big block, the boat would have a Great front deck like my 202zx just a foot shorter

It would handle ANY water you put it on and you would be very happy

The other option and you could get a hell of a deal is look outside Cal and buy a 225zx that would be the same boat as I had or a 200zx, I know you can get 1 for a Great price if you look with a warranty still on the motor if you look at a team boat that is 1-2 years old

You really don't need a 50,000 New boat find a Great Deal on a used 1

Just my 2 cents

Ranger, Hey Skeeter just how big is your deck?

Skeeter, Well my deck is huge there Ranger, how big is your deck?

Ranger, Well skeeter, it's a pretty big deck, but i hear that champion has the massive deck.

Skeeter, Yeah i heard champion has the massive deck.
Have you seen his deck yet?

Ranger, no not yet, i sure hope he pulls that cover off so we all can see his massive deck.

Gambler, I've seen champion's massive deck and it's true. I thought i had a big deck but champion's is massive.

Ranger and Skeeter, when did you see champion's massive deck?

Gambler, The other night at the motel when champion pulled the cover off and showed me his massive deck. Man it was huge!

Nitro, Yeah champion showed it to me that same night and I have to say that it was extremely huge. I just wish i had a deck that big.

seriously
