minn kota maxxum vs fotrex

I am looking to buy a new trolling motor.I currently have a maxxum 74lb 24 volt 42 inch shaft with a bad board .I want a warranty.I want to know if i should buy the maxxum 80lb or what any one has heard about the new minn kota fortex 80 lb 24volt 45 in shaft,will the shaft length make that big of a difference in shallow water(delta)2000 ranger 461 vs

The new 4tex is the bomb! I have the 101 and I will tell you it lacks no power. The new bracket gives you more direct momentum without the flex. The 45 inch shaft will not hinder your movement on the delta one bit. The 80 lb. thuust will be perfect for your 461. The newly designed footpedal is also very comfortable when you are on your motor all day. Definitely an A+.
