Bass West Magazine

Post by adamsj13 »

Hi all, Anyone know if they are still around? I ordered the 3 year subscription Dec 5 2008 and have yet to see anything come in. I have called and left messages with the vmail they have with out any response. I have left 3 messages and no one has called back. Pretty poor service if you ask me. Does anyone have a contact for them? Anyway to get my money back?

for the question being asked before, just remember that maybe he did not see those posts. I do want to give credit to someone (maybe sTony) as my magazine arrived this time, and it did not cover last summer's fishing-it was current, and a great read!

Also, Tony sent an email before he left for his vacation, and in it he stated that the current issue is at the printer, and they've established strict guidelines on the timeframes for article submissions in order to keep the issues coming out on time.

I'd say, from my unbiased observations, that they've done much to get the periodical on track.

I ordered my BassWest about the same time frame. I have received one (Lucas). Your about 1 mag behind. Once you get that one you will be caught up.

I know this is a bit off the topic but i figured it easier to post here than to make a new thread. when you goto basswest website it gives you the option to look at the current magazine online. is there any way to look at past magazines?

I did do quick search for bass west and there were alot of different topics, but I didn't see any for the magazine. I may not of looked close enough.

I cant even look at the magazine online.

I've tried those contacts on the link with no luck. Its just unacceptable to have this type of service. I know I would just like to get my money back because I have not heard from anyone within Bass west.

Thanks guys for your replys

Unless things have changed get used to it.
It takes 2-3 months to get the first issue.
There is only 6-8 issues printed a year so do expect one every month.

It's a decent magazine just don't sit around waiting for it. Your best off forgetting all about it and when it arrives its a nice surprise.

WE are working on the site to make the current issues and the past issues available to current subscribers. Once we have it fixed those who are current will be able to view the mags. Current subscribers mean subscribers that were on the list to receive the latest issue that was released. The web site will be updated everytime the list is sent to the printer. I hope this answers your questions. If not, please contact me at 1-800-360-7112.

Ya, you should go back with the past issues a couple years. i remember when i first became a member the past issues were up there. I like the day on lake issues with the western pros on tournament days. Make sure you throw those issues up for me. Thanks

Serious Question- - Will a person likely see two Bass West magazines before or after you catch your next ten fish from
Diamond Valley.........................and you have to be in your own boat.

Bass West ALWAYS has an excuse----whether 2009, '08.......'05, et all. If it wasn't for a readership ravenous for info and reading adventure................they wouldn't be around.
Like D.V. ; expect NOTHING and anything thrown your way will be
appreciated.
