At what water temp do you start making the transition from using pork trailers to plastic trailers?

When the water temp hits 65 thats the time to go to the plastic trailors they will imitate the gills that are all over the nests.

It is a preference thing and 95% of the time, I'm throwing plastic, but there are those times when pork just "feels right" and that is usually in water below 50 degrees F. Personally it is what trailers you know catch fish, in that, I'm a huge fan of the Denny Brauer Chunks from Strike King (the older generation) the new ones just aren't the same  But those have great action, lots of bouyancy, but if I want some more unorthodox color, then I got to the Zoom Super Chunks (sometimes you just need a Sour Grape coloured trailer)!!!!

The isn't any reason to change pork due to water temperature. Rig both and let the bass decide what they want.
Few bass anglers today fish pork, too messy, dries up and why bother. I fish it year around because it works for me, but keep in mind I'm Oldschool and set in my ways.

+1 let the bass tell you what they want. I can only speak for the Colorado River lakes. I like to throw 3 trailers. pork, twin trailer, and craw all times of the year.
