FYI on Silverwood

Well since I have been fishing 9 out of the last 10 days I was going to take the rest of the week off since I'm working the shock boat tonight and tomorrow night at the wood.

Well I got up and deiced that since the lake time changed today to 6:00 am and I REALLY wanted to see how Bad the checking of boats would be I jumped in the truck and got to the lake to be 1st in line.

Well the boat check didn't happen there is a sign at the pay house that they will be starting it on the 4th sat. Steve was not there so I could not find out just how bad it is going to be, but I have a feeling on whats going to happen.

Well I guess the lake went up 5' sunday night and the water temp went down 4 deg's a friend told me the bite on monday was sad.

Well the lake went up 1' today Also when I was there and the water temp was down from last friday.

Lake is at normal pool now, and this is the new hot spot so Todd and Pat stay off my honney hole







Now that I think about it that spot was sh*ty so you both can have it

What is up with the skid steer, Did you put it there to try to move the fish a safe haven or what. I bet that bouy will keep it above water if the water should come up some more.

water temp was 52.3 in the am and when we started shocking last night at 7:00 pm it was 53.4

and we did get a few off of it when we shocked it so it is holding fish

I think and this is just me I don't really know what the worker was thinking the lake was down 6' all last week and on friday the guy working there was thinking they won't raise the lake water so were cool lets go get a 6 pack and start the weekend

and sunday night the gates were open lake went back to normal pool and monday morning here is what you have and since now there not to sure how to get it out its still there on thursday morning you know today because it was still in the water when we got done last night

Just to let Everyone know i talked to Rick R last night, He did say that all the rangers are going through training right now to know how to do the inspections and to know what to look for. There is going to be an Questionere that we need to fill out prior to launching (i am guessing Similar to the one DV used) They are going to be checking Live Wells and Main drain plugs and since it is new to them they might even check the Motor to make sure it doesnt leak when lowered. Rick said they will also be doing inspections in the Future days prior and tagging the boat so that you will not have to wait the actual day you want to fish. He did mention that Lake Perris Rangers are going through the same training so they are going to be doing the same thing there as well.

Well this going to be one good tourney.Looks like there might be a turn out for the Wood I hear CAT,Bobcat and Case will be holding races on the water I have had to break out Oysterhead and my classic Punk today!The day is good Now See my friends on Sat.
