From today forward the main launch ramp will be closed to launching for the Kids Fishing Day Saturday. So in this case everyone should know to launch from Coyote ramp.

They have the main ramp netted for the trout the kids will be catching...should be cool for the kids to get some fishing in and catch som trout! But that means, once the net drops the bass might go on a TEAR!

Just a heads up to those fishing this weekend at Casitas!

I remember last year standing on the dock where those trout were "SAFE" from the Bass. You could see 10+ fish looking in at the trout in the net. It was awesome. Trout baits were being slung everywhere. Guys were at the buoy line in their boats throwing them at us while we were standing on the docks landing them feet away from their boats. Not many fish caught around he netted trout, but it sure felt like any second you were gonna get hammered. Watching the bass investigate the trout in the net was just cool to watch.
