Justin Lucas Guide Service

Post by 5Ndabag »

My brother in law and I went out today with Justin wanting to learn dropshotting at Folsom Lake. Had an incredible day on the water. At least 30 fish in the boat. He catered to our every need. I would highly recommend using him as a guide for anyone wanting to learn new techniques. We previously had not had much success dropshotting, but feel very confident after our day with him boating 3, 4 and 5 lb spots and many other in the 1-2 lb range. Hoping to do well at the upcoming Future Pro Tournament.

Thanks again, Justin. YOU'RE THE MAN!!!

So, how do we get in touch with him? I don't find him under the "Guides" link.

hmm...I think the FPT stands for Future Pro Tour if I'm correct...is this a serious statement about fishing tournaments...and not knowing how to dropshot? I figured one would have their techniques sharpened if they were putting up money to fish tournaments....not just learning them...where do I sign up for the FPT???

With a S/N like Bass king I would think you would be way overqualified for FPT. Why don't you pony up the 55K and fish the Elites if you know everything Justin has to offer about the dropshot.
Good luck Justin with your new biz. Maybe I can get some dropshot lessons when you have some spare time. 8)

"wanting to learn dropshotting"

it seems they don't know how...not trying to refine the technique.

and just b/c my SCREEN NAME is bass king...doesnt mean i'm a king. It's only a SCREEN NAME...take it for what it's worth bob.

and I don't remember saying I knew everything justin had to offer about the dropshot...but go ahead and put more words in my mouth buddy. you're talking about "ponying up" 55k and you want lessons on the drop shot too?? hahaha...seems you should get your priorities straight..or you're just financially loaded where you can go put up 55k as a novice. If it was me putting up 55k...I sure as hell know I wouldn't be interested in a guide trip....that would be old news one would think for someone fishing the elites right???

The Future Pro Tour is intended for people to learn it is a stepping stone kind of like a education in fishing under adverse conditions and just like an education it cost money (small investment) Justin is catering to the novice, heck I remember back when Justin was just learning I have known him since he was 12 yo If he wants to pass that knowledge that he has worked hard to gain on then by all means he should be compensated for it.

Dropshotting like all techs. take time to master yea you might/can pull a fish out of 6' of water on the delta but try doing at oroville in 60' whole different ball game its dark down that deep LOL

I say more power to you Justin :D you have paid your dues and put in the hard work you have had alot of help and great people supporting you over the years you kept your head on straight and kept your priorities in order Go for it dude and good luck with everything :D
