I've heard from many regulars of the Delta that he or she should look for the "right grass." Can you elaborate on this?
Is it a specific species of grass, the height, depth in which the grass is located, the location of the grass (facing current, dead end sloughs etc.)...
Much appreciated.

Someone mentioned a bong here a couple weeks ago, what's going on around here?
I had to come back...I know...
Re: Your Thoughts About GRASS?
This is a great question that can not and will not ever yeild an answer that will ever help do anything but make you more confused.
I will say that the one thing that I have learned from fishing the Delta and Clear Lake is that rain and water levels (and temp) play a major role in the height of grass and where grass is located.
More so than grass, the makeup of the bottom that the grass is growing on and the depth of the grass based on the tide and the time of year is far more important than the type of grass. Depth is the key not the grass.
To quote Dee Thomas-Find a bank or area of the Delta and learn how to catch fish on every tide.
Don't over think it or make it more than it has to be!
