havasu bound 4/18 4/19 need tips ,largemouth

my club will be fishing havasu 4/18 4/19 would like to know if anyone would like to enlighten me

Should be some spawn and lotsa post spawn going on. Which marina you going out of and how many boats? There will be another tourney going on on Saturday out of Windsor. New Horizons Pro/Am Charity tournament. It is a great event.

Be really careful as the lake is also hosting the Desert Strike boat race that same weekend, the race is on the 18th I believe. Big, fast boats.

The Desert Storm Poker run is one of the largest events west of the Mississipi. The boats range from small 25' Eliminator Daytona style boats all the way up to the 45' OuterLimits and Skater brand boats. There is a huge street show of all the boats on thursday the 23rd. Here is a link to give you an idea of the size of the event. http://www.lakeracerllc.com/ I have been there that same weekend one time, and to say I was blown away by the size of these boats, is an understatement. Fortunately you will be there a week before they will, so it will be an non issue..
