HELP A NAVY GUY OUT PLEASE-DELTA/CLEAR LAKE

Post by Bassgod »

I am coming up to NORCAL to visit my inlaws and will have a 3 day window to fish on the delta. I would love to get on the water 1 or 2 of these days July 7th-9th. I am in the Navy here in SD and I am afraid to drag my boat up there to fish those few days, because of the other 8 days we are there the boat would be parked on the street in a very shady neighborhood in Fairfield.
My first choice would be for one of you guys that are prefishing to take me along and I can pay for the days gas and lunch. Second choice would be for any guide that has an opening in that window. I am trying to keep the cost down as much as possible.
I am transferring out of Cali later this year unfortunately, so this is my one and only shot to fish the Delta. I dont know if I could live with myself knowing I lived in Cali and never fished there.
I can return the favor for anyone traveling to SD for a vacation.
Please send me a PM if you might be able to help me out.
Thanks,
Dustin

I have had the pleasure of meeting Dustin since he services my friends boat, he's a stand up guy and really helps out allot of fisherman down here in SoCal.

It would be great to see someone help him out and get him on the Delta...c'mon!

Thanks guys, I have 2 offers, but now my wife changed her dates on me this morning so I dont know if those guys will able to go on these days. I will now be up there from June 30th until July 7th.
Guys my new days I can go fishing are Thursday 7/2, Friday 7/3, and Monday 7/6.
I would love to hit Clear Lake one day also.If anyone can help a brother out on these days please drop me a line.
I just got a Powell 725 frog Rod and a new Patriarch reel spooled up with 65lb Power Pro ready to go! I did pop the cherry on it at Otay Saturday night with a 2-9, but I would love to fish some real mats.
Thanks a bunch!

Hey Dude! I will get you out on the Delta any time you want. I just got back from the Berkley Big Bass last night so this is the first time I have looked at western bass for a couple days. The frog bite is decent and there are bruisers unders the mats already. Shoot me an e-mail at jballewconst@aol.com if you need a ride!!! Jason
