Re: 2009 RANGER Z-20 QUESTION
We changed the locks for the '09 model year to the compression locks. It was mainly due to customer demand to get away from the dri lock system. Also our Pro Staff guys seems to like the new SS compression lock system better and they had a lot of input on this. I think this is what you will see go forward in all of the Z boats. We used it in the Z520, Z522 and Z20 for '09.

Re: 2009 RANGER Z-20 QUESTION
I'm with Ron on this one. The compression locks are the best lock/latch assembly I've had on my Rangers in years. It's real easy to get my little fingers into also.
Not cheap either, being all s/s construction. Great improvement IMHO.

Re: 2009 RANGER Z-20 QUESTION
I do not miss bashing my head, tripping over an open handle or punching a hole through a Plano with those stupid quarter turn latches. I will keep my rail system latches. Too bad they were too difficult for the general public to maintain.
